This is one of the best deals I’ve ever seen. Considering if you were to buy Windows 7 Home Premium it would set you back $100 at least, it’s a bargain getting it and a notebook with reasonable specifications for under $200.
I think you have to compare this notebook to a netbook as you can’t expect to get a high performance machine for that price. The eMachines EME528-2325 falls is like a very powerful netbook without the compact design of one. It has a fast enough processor of 2.2GHz Intel Celeron 900, a DVD reader/writer and a 64 bit version of Windows 7 Home Premium, trumping pretty much every netbook out there.
It’s got a full size keyboard and separate keypad and weighs 5.5 pounds. It does also come with a 15.6 inch display and 2Gb of RAM and a 250 GB hard drive.
One thing though, it seems to lack a webcam which I thought was a pretty much a standard feature these days, but on the plus side you will find a HDMI port. Oh and another thing, we dont know if there’s any wireless connectivity as eMachines site doesn’t say, but surely it does otherwise this would really put a damper on the whole deal.
This notebook is exclusive to Walmart and normally sells for $370 but from 5 am to 11am on November 26th Walmart will be offering it for under $200, so it looks like it could be a steal!
