Palm Releases webOS PDK to Public

Palm has announced the availability of WebOS Plug-in Development Kit or PDK public beta version to the developers which will provide better gaming to existing and future webOS based devices.

The webOS PDK works with Palm’s Mojo webOS software development kit (SDK) and allows programmers to create plug-ins using C or C++ technology, and the OpenGL ES graphics API for 3D graphics. The new PDK will also work as a bridge for the game designers to port the game titles of other platforms to webOS like iPhone games.
Some of the developers are already offering the 3D titles through Palm App Catalog but the new webOS PDK based games will be compatible for the new webOS update which is expected in the middle of this year.
