Google Apps Marketplace Opens for Businesses

At Campfire One event, Google has launched new app store for business users, known as the Google Apps Marketplace.

The purpose of Google Apps Marketplace launch is to facilitate users and software providers to do business in the cloud for integrated business applications.
Right now, at Google Apps Marketplace more than 50 companies are selling a range of business applications which falls in different category for example: Intuit Online Payroll, Professional Services Connect (PS Connect), Manymoon etc.

The main highlighted Google Apps Marketplace feature is that if once a user installed a third-party application to a company’s domain, then that app will behave like native Google application and became capable to interact with official Google applications including calendar, email, document etc.
Further Google said:
“Administrators can manage the applications from the familiar Google Apps control panel, and employees can open them from within Google Apps. With OpenID integration, Google Apps users can access the other applications without signing in separately to each. The Google Apps Marketplace eliminates the worry about software updates, keeping track of different passwords and manual syncing and sharing of data, thereby increasing business productivity and lessening frustrations for users and IT administrators alike.”
