Steve Jobs Announced Apple’s Latest Creation “iPad”

Finally, Apple’s CEO Steve Jobs has announced the tablet iPad which was living in rumors since many years. According to Apple this handy device fills the gap between iPhone and laptops. The specifications of iPad announced by Jobs are as follows:

* Thickness: half-inch
* Weigh: 1.5 pounds
* Display: 9.7-inch capacitive touchscreen IPS LCD
* Running over: 1GHz Apple’s custom silicon chip called, A4
* Memory sizes: 16, 32, and 64 GB
* Bluetooth: 2.1+ EDR
* Wi-Fi: 802.11n
* Dock connector: 30 pin
* Battery life: 10-hour
* Stand by time: One month
* Accelerometer and Compass
* Speaker, and microphone
* UI is different than iPhone and Mac
* Managed through iTunes
* Synchronization over Mac is possible
* Runs iPhone apps
* Apple iPad is unlocked and could be used abroad

The announced Apple iPad price according to 16 GB, 32 GB and 64 GB versions over Wi-Fi are respectively $499, $599, and $699 whereas there is additional cost for 3G which is $130 for each model.
