Google Voice Web App for iPhone and Palm WebOS

Last year Apple banned Google Voice app accompanied with some other applications for iPhone, to resolve that issue Google found a new way to use Google Voice app on iPhone by launching Google Voice Web service. Newly launched Google Voice web service is available for iPhone OS 3.0 or later versions and also works for Palm WebOS.

Users can access Google Voice Web App by navigating to m.google.com/voice URL on web browser of their iPhone or Palm mobile device.

According to Google official blog:

“In addition to letting you access a streamlined version of your Google Voice inbox, the new web app also lets you display your Google Voice number as the outbound caller ID (so return calls come back to your Google Voice number), send and receive text messages for free, and place international calls at Google Voice’s low rates.”

To use Google Voice Web App on your smart phones you must have Google Voice account. Watch out the following video which is demonstrating Google Voice Web App working on iPhone.
