Microsoft Sold 90 Million Copies of Windows 7

A month ago Microsoft said that they have sold 60 million copies of the newly released operating system Windows 7 but at the Morgan Stanley Technology Media & Telecom Conference on March 2, Microsoft’s Chief Financial Officer Peter Klein said that until now 90 million copies of Windows 7 have been sold.

Windows 7 was released to manufacturers in July 2009 whereas it was rolled out to general public in October 2009 and this huge sale of new Windows operating system is definitely a success event for Microsoft.
