YouTube Launches Limited HTML5 Support


YouTube is going to launch HTML 5 video player on different video sites. HTML 5 video player can run videos without installing other plug-ins as Flash Player or Silverlight.

This would be the first step taken by Google to practically implement HTML 5 video player on web and it will give a new experience to viewers and designers as well.

Right now, HTML 5 video player support is limited to some videos by YouTube. Users who want to test HTML 5 feature on YouTube may Sign up on Test Tube and as a prerequisite they must have to run Chrome, Safari or Chrome frame in IE as web browsers.
